Festival" contains the word "festival". A word that encourages you to enjoy every moment and turn it into a festive listening pleasure for living music. Since 1984, Spring of the Arts has been exploring so-called "classical" music to show that it is absolutely not classical!

The Printemps des Arts of Monte-Carlo is a music festival founded in 1970 on the initiative of Princess Gracia Patricia of Monaco and takes place over 4 to 5 weekends every spring. Since 1984, it has been under the patronage of her daughter Caroline, who entrusted its direction to composer Marc Monnet in 2003, but continues to be involved in its development.
This festival dedicated to creation makes the Principality a place of pilgrimage for all those who combine art and music when spring arrives. The strong taste for the diversity of artistic expressions (music from the 11th to the 21st century, symphonies, operas, recitals, performances, dance...) and the adherence to a quality requirement by which the greatest artists of the time are presented to the public are the two cornerstones of this festival. The always prestigious artistic program of this major event on the Côte d'Azur also emphasizes the discovery and promotion of young talent.

Monte-Carlo's Printemps des Arts is sometimes unusual and unexpected, yet it has been delighting and enchanting audiences for over thirty years. What distinguishes the Printemps des Arts from other European festivals is the priority it gives to discovery in the broadest sense of the word: discovery of musical cultures from other continents, the best (sometimes atypical) representatives of which are invited.
