The exhibition HOPE, the third part of the long-term project TECHNO HUMANITIES initiated by the director of Museion Bart van der Heide, will occupy the entire Museion building. HOPE will be accompanied by a program of events and an anthology of critical texts. TECHNO HUMANITIES is the young museum's most extensive experiment to date, involving all employees and regional interest groups and creating an atmosphere of creative dialog and debate in all areas of the institution.

TECHNO HUMANITIES discusses urgent and existential questions about the current global conditions of human existence in relation to ecology, technology and the economy. In the context of this controversial interaction, the third TECHNO HUMANITIES exhibition makes hope a central theme at a time when it is increasingly difficult to identify a clear future. A linear understanding of the future in terms of prosperity, progress and security is at the center of the ruins, social inequality and ecological exploitation that our world is currently facing. How does hope manifest itself when such a linear understanding of the future is suspended? HOPE brings together artistic positions from different generations that understand the end of the future as a new beginning and an incentive to give validity to increasingly circular regenerative processes as a source of wonder and collective movements.
