The Popess - The Musical
Experience the most successful German musical of the last 15 years in a completely new guise: new stage design, new costumes, new scenes including four new songs. A little girl fights for her right to knowledge in the early Middle Ages. On her adventurous journey through Germania, Johanna has to pretend to be a man in order to survive. A showdown ensues in Rome: the people elect Joan as Pope and force her to make a fateful decision.

An evening full of emotions and unique highlights: For the 20th anniversary of spotlight musicals after eight world premieres and over 750,000 enthusiastic musical visitors, it's going to be spectacular in Fulda! The big anniversary gala will bring hits and stars from eight musical world premieres to the big stage in Fulda: Boniface, Elisabeth - The Legend of a Saint, The Popess, Frederick, Treasure Island, Kolping's Dream, The Medicus and Robin Hood.

After a five-year break, Boniface, apostle of the Germans and "first European", returns to the original location as a musical star.
