The Carinthia Museum is an important cultural center that brings the rich history and art of Carinthia to life through diverse exhibitions and interactive educational programs. It offers visitors insights into the regional characteristics and historical developments of Carinthia.

Building blocks for the Volkshaus/Ljudski dom in Klagenfurt/Celovec. The Volkshaus/Ljudski dom in Klagenfurt/Celovec, designed by Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky, has been a listed building since 1994. It initially served as the publishing and printing house of the KPÖ newspaper "Volkswille". Donations and volunteer work are the starting point of its diverse, almost 75-year history. The exhibition shows the numerous structural changes and the colorful biography of the building. The focus is on numerous uses and the importance of spatial infrastructure for social, cultural and political initiatives. At the same time, it provides building blocks for the history of social and counter-cultural movements in Carinthia/Koroška. The exhibition was developed in a teaching research project of the Master's program Applied Cultural Studies & Transcultural Studies at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt.
