From the top of the world's violin elite as a soloist and chamber musician to her role as artistic director and respected professor - Julia Fischer embodies artistic versatility to perfection. With her extraordinary virtuosity, her musical passion and her rich diversity, she has earned herself a unique place among the musical greats.

Julia Fischer makes her Stuttgart debut. Well, concertgoers will ask themselves: we've known the great violinist (and occasional pianist) for many years, haven't we? That's correct, but this is the first time she has performed in the role of conductor at the master concert. Although Julia Fischer has often performed with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields as a leading violin soloist, she has never conducted purely orchestral works. This is about to change. After her solo contributions, she will conduct Bartók and Schubert. A highly anticipated debut!
