She is Dido in "Dido and Aeneas", Rosina in "The Barber of Seville", Cherubino in Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" and Carmen in Bizet's opera of the same name. Mezzo-soprano Shachar Lavi from the NTM ensemble is now presenting a special program at the Musiksalon.

Hector Berliozʼ song cycle "Nuits dʼété" was originally planned. Due to shifts in the repertoire, new, exciting cross-connections suddenly emerged: The result is a program between baroque and bel canto with works by George Frideric Handel, Joseph Haydn, Claudio Monteverdi and Gioacchino Rossini, among others. In short scenes - so-called cantatas for voice and one accompanying instrument - we encounter historical-mythological female figures such as Ariadne, Lucrezia or Joan of Arc, who allow us to look deep into their souls in a haunting and vivid way. Grief and pain are transformed into sound. But this highly virtuoso music also speaks of hope, strength and joie de vivre.
