"Macbeth" is one of Shakespeare's shortest plays, but packed with action and drama.

The events come so thick and fast that Macbeth is swept away and can no longer control them. He races through his drama, just as a warrior races into the ranks of his enemies. He is caught in an endless cycle of pain, destruction and death, driven by his own misguided decisions. Once started, he can no longer leave this destructive path and deceives himself when he convinces himself that he can still turn the situation around and that in the end the end will justify the means. He desperately searches for love, honor, friendship, power...
In the end, he despairs of himself. The highly atmospheric production skillfully uses cinematic means such as a hypnotic soundtrack, simple, historical-looking costumes and strong lighting effects. The brisk narrative style and the echoes of well-known history and fantasy productions appeal to the viewing habits of young viewers in particular.
