This exhibition brings together two artists who could hardly be more different, but at the same time have a great deal in common!

Monika Grzymala and Katharina Hinsberg work primarily as draughtswomen, the perpetual exploration of the line is a primary theme, and the artists also have this in common: many of their drawings are created in space, move through space and have a distinctly sculptural quality. There, however, they unfold more than different pictorial worlds, spatial effects and dynamics. While Katharina Hinsberg's spatial drawings move through the space as fragile lines with an almost dissecting clarity, Monika Grzymala's drawings emanate an eruptive, explosive force with which her powerful bundles of lines penetrate and occupy the space.
The artists will occupy the space together. The exhibition is the result of an ongoing dialog between the artists about their ideas on the subject of drawing.
