Consistent Fantasy is Reality is the first musical theater production by Turkish singer and activist Gaye Su Akyol. Her creative work aims to counter oppression and injustice with a powerful poetic counter-reality and to demonstrate possibilities for a more just and beautiful world.
Turkish singer Gaye Su Akyol takes the audience on a glittering, glamorous musical theater rebellion about resentment and respect, oppression and freedom.
After a glamorous night at a concert, Gaye Su Akyol's daily routine begins. She travels through Istanbul in her minibus , picking up passengers: a conservative man, a socially engaged teacher, and a young, queer person on their way to a date. Conflict seems inevitable, but danger comes from another direction: the minibus is being abducted into space! The gray planet on which it crash-lands is threatened by a sinister secret organization that fights against the power of individuality and also has its sights set on Earth. Will Gaye su Akyol and her crew succeed in overcoming their differences and thus saving two planets at once?
