The Magic Bavaria is a fantastic upside-down adventure museum, the likes of which Munich has never seen before! From December 6, 2023, the Bavarian capital will have one more exciting new hotspot: the Magic Bavaria! With a fascinating mix of amazing illusions, upside-down effects, interactive photo backdrops for social media as well as fun facts and local art from Bavaria, the fantastic museum offers a unique experience for young and old as well as locals and tourists alike on around 1,000 square meters.
The museum with a difference
At Magic Bavaria, there is no standing in front of information boards with lots of text, but an interactive world of experience with amazing illusions that takes you on a magical journey through Bavaria's highlights. Fun facts about Bavaria's history, landscapes, art and culture are also provided. A new surprise awaits in every room. For example, visitors can be enchanted in the fantastic Ice Crystal Infinity Room and the jump into the ball pool turns out to be a swim through the Eibsee.

Have you ever been part of a three-dimensional work of art? No problem at Magic Bavaria! The creative rooms of the adventure museum with over 30 interactive photo motifs and installations inspire visitors to join in and pose - cool selfies and funny family photos included! Hanging upside down on a rock face or in a royal castle is not something you often see - thanks to the fun upside-down effects, all of this can be captured in photographs at Magic Bavaria. Because unlike in "normal" museums, touching and taking photos is expressly encouraged at Magic Bavaria!

Location for art, culture and events
There's never a dull moment at Magic Bavaria: whether it's a corporate event or a birthday party - the Magic Bavaria adventure museum is a creative meeting place. Thanks to changing installations by local artists, it always offers a stage for current topics: How does a healthy approach to media work? And the environment? Youth workshops for upcycling art projects or photography courses encourage young people to take a critical look at these topics.
The Magic Bavaria is located in the MONA shopping center directly next to the OEZ (Olympia Einkaufszentrum) in Munich.
