The Stadtlabor is a temporary, publicly accessible research facility of the Nordico Stadtmuseum Linz, a place of current debate about the present and future of the city. How should Linz shape itself in the future? What changes do we want to see? And what can we do about it?
In working on these questions, we are inspired by ideas that already exist today: Projects by pioneers of change that bring the city and society together in new ways. Based on five different themed rooms, these selected prototypes offer insights into the areas of housing, local supply, work, public spaces and the city museum itself. An open prototype workshop offers space for additional contributions from visitors.
