The most pious cannot live in peace if the evil neighbor does not like it, as the old saying goes. And especially the inhabitants of the tenement house of the Bremen master butcher Tramsen, who have the dubious pleasure of living in the immediate vicinity of a certain Meta Boldt, can only confirm the truth of this sentence. Because the curious Mrs. Boldt "watches" the small staircase and all its bizarre residents with eagle eyes.
Illegal lodgers, lots of loud music and all kinds of suspicious love affairs ensure that Mrs. Boldt is in undreamt-of top form and drives the house community to the brink of a nervous breakdown.
