Heaven, hell, paradise? Gospel and hymns or rather highway to hell?
In the show, which lasts around two and a half hours, you will experience more than a dozen performances by artists, bands, choirs and the orchestra, presenting the entire spectrum of music - from classical to pop. The special feature: All the performers come from the Oldenburg region and combine supposedly contrasting musical styles to create a unique experience. The focus is on specially produced arrangements presented by the State Orchestra of the Oldenburg State Theatre together with various local artists. From hip-hop to choir, from opera singers to young talents, from the Oldenburg State Orchestra to a rock band - anything is possible at Classic meets Pop.
For thirteen years, Classic meets Pop played exclusively to sold-out arenas - no wonder Oldenburg's successful show is returning: in March 2025, you can once again look forward to an event that is as extraordinary as it is fascinating and has established itself as a cultural highlight from the very beginning.
