Andrea K. Schlehwein + NETZWERK AKS is an award-winning international artist collective of internationally recognized artists from around the world - all living a nomadic lifestyle, exploring their unique approach to craft and art, and realizing creative visions in the broad field of contemporary art. The collective creates an average of 2-3 full-length dance productions per year as well as several smaller formats, most of which are premiered at ART SPACE stift millstatt in Austria and later presented at international festivals and renowned art houses worldwide.

Andrea K. Schlehwein + NETZWERK AKS is characterized by multilingualism, lives contemporary values and unprejudiced internationality. Hardly any of the artists working here, who come from 19 different countries, live in the place of their birth, in the country of their nationality. Their nomadic life shapes a special awareness in dealing with borders in art, in thinking, in multicultural understanding and a dialog-oriented coexistence that does not exclude discourse, but explicitly welcomes it. While the label currently works at ART SPACE stift millstatt in Carinthia, Austria, its members can come together anywhere in the world to research projects, discuss, rehearse ideas and stage productions for NETZWERK AKS.
Under the label Contemporary Art Projects, Andrea K. Schlehwein realizes productions of all kinds - always in exciting, international teams. Her range includes dance productions as well as visual text projects, she conceives exhibitions, initiates and delegates art projects, promotes dance artists in the AIR, opens professional dance training courses to the public and much more.

Under the title all is process, the label Andrea K. Schlehwein + NETZWERK AKS presents a continuous dance performance over the course of 3 hours, which naturally merges with the events surrounding the group exhibition of the schäfer + schlehwein gallery and thus becomes a unique experience for visitors.
The dance is simply and perhaps unspectacularly part of the space, its protagonists can be seen up close, you are up close and as a unit you create a moving spatial landscape of paintings, video art, soundscape, dance and last but not least: the visitors themselves.
