The Liszt Festival Raiding will once again be a hotspot on the international classical music scene in 2024. In the birthplace of Franz Liszt, visitors can expect top-class concerts with international and national artists in one of the best concert halls in Europe.

The festival year starts with the Baroque Jazz Days from March 15 to 17, where the fusion of old and new music is celebrated. The Barucco Originalklangorchester brings Handel's Water Music to life, while the radio.string.quartet reinterprets Bach's Violin Sonata in G minor with master violinist Kirill Kobanchenko. The Austria String Trio is also innovative, breaking new musical ground with a combination of baroque, pop and jazz.

The Brass Fest from April 26 to 28 presents top-class brass music with formations such as The Philharmonic Brass - the best brass group in the world. The musical spectrum ranges from Joseph Haydn to Liszt. The virtuosity of Wieder, Gansch & Paul as well as performances by the Sopron Town Band and the Original Woodstock Musikanten round off the program and transform Raiding into a cloud of brass music.

The established Liszt Festival from June 13 to 23 also has breathtaking moments in store. Kateryna Titova and Claire Huangci will delight you with two piano recitals. Further musical highlights await you with the Divinerinnen and the Ensemble Minui - which performs opera without singing. The Academia Allegro Vivo orchestra celebrates Anton Bruckner's 200th birthday with a very special concert and well-known ensembles such as the Janoska Ensemble and the Vienna Academy Orchestra under Martin Haselböck also promise musical enjoyment par excellence.

From fall 2024, the calendar of events will be restructured. The concerts will no longer take place in parallel with the calendar year, but with the school year. The new 2024/25 season will therefore be presented at the end of April, starting with the Liszt Festival from October 10 to 20 and the Family Concerts on December 7.
