"Peter Pan - The Family Musical" and "3 Musketeers - The Musical" - two great plays can be experienced at the open-air stage in Meppen next year.

Peter Pan - The family musical
Everyone knows the story of Peter Pan, Captain Hook and the fairy Tinkerbell. Peter Pan and his gang "The Lost Boys" never want to grow up. They all live on the island of Neverland. An island where there are fairies, villainous pirates, magical mermaids and a ticking crocodile. One evening, Peter Pan flies through the open window into the Darling family's nursery, and before the dog Nana and the parents know it, the children Wendy, John and Michael fly out into the night with Peter and the fairies and land on Neverland. Great adventures await them there, which they master together. James Matthew Barrie's story tells of the magic and pitfalls of childhood, of friendship, family and the search for one's own path. A touching and exciting story for the whole family, embedded in wonderful songs and rousing choreography. And don't forget: There is always a way to Neverland! All you need is faith, trust - and a little fairy dust.

3 Musketeers - The musical
The story of the "3 Musketeers" is set in 17th century France. D'Artagnan, a young Gascon, makes his way to Paris. He wants to become a musketeer in the king's guard and follow in his father's footsteps. As soon as he arrives, he comes into conflict with the three musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis, but suddenly they have to defend themselves together against Cardinal Richelieu's henchmen. They become friends and have many adventures together. A story of power, intrigue and passion begins. The musical by Rob and Ferdi Bolland, based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, captivates with powerful rock-pop music and emotional ballads, gripping scenes, spectacular fencing battles and a large portion of humor. The Bolland brothers caused a sensation in the 1980s with compositions for the singer Falco. They penned the songs "Jeannie" and "Rock me Amadeus". The musical was commissioned by Stage Entertainment.
