Crime Scene Opera
Ensemble Minui & Tatort actress Christina Scherrer
together with actress Christina Scherrer into the world of opera. Characters from six different operas suddenly become independent and intertwine with each other. The result is a cross-opera story about love, lust, revenge, jealousy and murder. Christina Scherrer brings a wealth of experience as an assistant detective in the Austrian crime series Tatort and slips into the various roles, while ensemble minui presents previously unheard and sound-differentiated perspectives on operatic works with large casts.
Program: excerpts from the operas Tosca, Rusalka, Eugene Onegin, Der Rosenkavalier, La Bohème and Elektra.

What inspirations and messages do fairy tales offer? The members of the Synesthetic Project ensemble invite you on a journey through the casemates, transforming them into an enchanted place where stories and myths spring from every corner. Nika Bauman has created a mysterious traveling concert especially for the Milk x Honey Festival, which allows visitors to experience music and dance as well as the festival venue itself in a new way.
With works by Franz Schubert, Luigi Boccherini, Georg Philipp Telemann, Bela Bartok, Giovanni Sollima, Margareta Ferek Petrić and others.

Artistic director Christoph Zimper tailors the previously unreleased songs of singer/songwriter Bryan Benner, which get under your skin, in a new, chamber-musical guise. In a dignified club atmosphere, we start with raw cocoa from Ecuador - an ancient ritual of the indigenous cultures of South America for more self-care and connection. Definitely an evening for the soul!

From its genesis to its spiritual approach: this work breaks through boundaries. Would it be conceivable to push these boundaries even further by integrating the imaginative sand art of sand artist Anna Vidyaykina and the eloquence of actress Andrea Eckert to create an experience for all the senses from a pure listening experience?

Austria as a country of music is a home of choice for thousands of artists from all over the world who enrich our culture with their cultural and personal expressions. The two Iranian musicians, singer Golnar Shanyar and guitarist Mahan Mirarab, have inspired the domestic and international music scene with their music in an incomparable way. Together with their Iranian musician friends, they will give insights into what it means for them to live and work in Austria in this concert full of personal stories.

Almfilm - The cow concert
Cows & horses & donkeys & the owner & live music
Hannes Buchinger spent three years filming his cows, horses and donkeys. A photographer by profession, he sets up his camera on a tripod, presses the shutter button and then sneaks into the picture with his animals. He is not only the main actor, but also the screenwriter, director, cameraman and editor of this touching film. Florian Willeitner has created a live music concept for "Der Halter - Ein Film über Alm-Allage". Works from various eras alternate with improvisations and original compositions, giving the scenes depth and humor. The evening is rounded off by an exhibition of Buchinger's art photographs.
Program: Excerpts from compositions by W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Johannes Brahms, Béla Bartók, Erik Satie, György Ligeti, Sting, Florian Willeitner as well as improvisations.

The orchestra concert of your choice, in which you decide what is played. Put together a concert program consisting of an overture, solo concerto and a symphony and enjoy your creation in a lounge chair atmosphere open-air in the charming Bürgermeistergarten. A bold venture for which we have created the Milch&Honig Festival Orchestra, consisting of exquisite musicians from national and international orchestras. Die Strottern // BeethovenFollowing the musical fireworks of "Schubert as I know him" in the first edition of Milch&Honig, this concert format now continues with a fusion of classical music and popular music (in the broadest sense). The main work of the evening, the Septet in E flat major, Op.20 by Ludwig van Beethoven, played by the finest musicians in the country, merges with the songs of the most popular Viennese acoustic duo: Die Strottern!
