Zenita Komad's career has been unconventional and impressive from the very beginning. Her striking personality and an incomparable artistic oeuvre ranging from extraordinary graphic and sculptural works, object paintings and installations to scenic productions quickly brought the artist, who was born in Klagenfurt in 1980, success, gaining her entry into the leading Austrian galleries and attracting national and international attention.
The artist began her journey in Zenita City and is now at the center of Zenita Universe, a spiritual cosmos that brings together family, friends, companions, cooperation partners and others who share the artist's substantial desire for harmonious coexistence in a prosperous world. The ideas that originate in Zenita Komad's profound world of thought are conveyed through her work in clear statements, strong messages and powerful images as well as poetic stagings that find their way from art into the world. Always with the intention of reaching people and making the world a better place. "The war is over!" echoes Zenita Komad's appeal from the castle courtyard into the ether. Desperately and longingly struggling for peace, while at the same time being aware of the hopelessness of the situation, the artist formulates her request all the more vehemently, for which she would like to win us all as comrades-in-arms. The exhibition, one of three parallel, related projects, brings together a cross-section of the artist's works from recent years as well as her latest works on the subject of peace and justice in the world. The role that art plays in this is confirmed by the subtitle of the presentation, "Art Is a Doctor", and the museum can also become a place of healing.

The artist Zenita Komad, born in Klagenfurt in 1980, will occupy a prominent place in the Austrian art landscape in spring 2024 with three sensational, parallel, related artistic projects with committed, controversial socio-political works. The exhibitions entitled "DER KRIEG IST AUS!" and "NIE WIEDER KRIEG!" in Klagenfurt and Graz as well as the land art installation "DIE WAFFEN NIEDER!" in Breitenbrunn in Burgenland, which are linked together in a trilogy by an accompanying publication, have a pleading character that could not be more insistent. It is reminiscent of the humane inferno of our own immediate history. In the inferno in the east of this continent "Europe", but also in the so-called "Holy Land", which is in a deep political hopelessness, he appeals for a simple word: PEACE!
