March and April are imagetanz time again at brut Wien. From 15 March to 12 April 2025, the renowned festival will present a varied program with new positions in choreography and performance.
At the brut nordwest, studio brut, WUK, Bears in the Park Art Place and FLUCC venues, international and local artists and collectives present a diverse program of world premieres and premieres. Workshop formats, discussion rounds, studio visits, audience talks and parties round off the festival.

The imagetanz festival offers world premieres and Austrian premieres by Stina Fors, Imani Rameses, maria mercedes, Hyeji Nam, Ariadne Randall (feat. McKenzie Wark), Malika Fankha & Seba Kayan and Björn Säfsten. As part of the brut series Handle with care, Laureen Drexler & Giorgia Scisciola, François-Eloi Lavignac, Flora Renhardt & Maria Melotti, Simone Lorenzo Benini & Miriam Budzáková will also provide insights into their rehearsal processes.
The brut barrierefrei series deals with forms, aesthetics and conditions of accessibility in the performing arts. In workshops and exchange formats with Angela Alves and Cleidy Acevedo, experts' experiences are discussed, alternative practices are tried out and new incentives and impulses are created. The lived experiences of artists and visitors with disabilities are at the center of this discussion.
