Alena Baeva is considered one of the most exciting, versatile soloists on the world stage: with her extraordinary memory and passionate curiosity, she has an active repertoire of over fifty violin concertos. She also promotes lesser-known works, performing compositions by Bacewicz, Karaev, Karłowicz and Silvestrov.
Thanks to the support of its mentor and patron Krzysztof Penderecki, Sinfonietta Cracovia is now one of the leading chamber music ensembles in Poland.
