For 36 years, great composers, charismatic conductors and unique soloists have been showcasing their skills at the Festspielhaus Bregenz as part of the traditional Bregenz Master Concerts series. Here are two tips for great concert evenings in 2024:

Shani Diluka
The French pianist Shani Diluka spans her program between "heaven" and "earth", whereby the earth is probably most closely associated with the folk song melodies of Edvard Grieg, which he captured in his Lyrical Pieces. Passionate flights of fancy and emotional depth are reflected in Beethoven's piano sonatas. Franz Liszt embarks on a pilgrimage, to Schubert on the one hand and to Italy on the other; the "heavenly" spiritual line of the program is assigned to him.

Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra
The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Edward Gardner has the status of a Norwegian national orchestra and enjoys a high international reputation. For her exceptional talent and musical maturity, violin soloist Veronika Eberle is also highly regarded by the world's best orchestras, concert halls and festivals, as well as by some of the world's leading conductors. Together they will create an evening that brings together works by Paul Dukas, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Antonín Dvořák.
