Built on the turntable and freehand. Margrit Linck's oeuvre is a tribute to the medium of clay. She was the first woman in Switzerland to open a pottery and effortlessly balanced between applied and free art with creative verve and freedom. Her constant exploration of form, expression and technique constantly gave new impetus to the craft and made her a pioneer of ceramics. Her "icons of everyday life" are still produced in the Linck Keramik manufactory today. With works from all creative phases, drawings and photographs, the exhibition presents Margrit Linck's significant creative legacy and provides an insight into her constant search for new forms.
