The approximately 90 active members of the association are mostly students or alumni of the University of Lübeck, the University of Technology and the University of Music. However, non-university members of all ages from Lübeck and the surrounding area are now also involved. Overall, the Lübeck Pop Symphonics bring people from the entire region together across generations through music. The Lübeck Pop Symphonics e.V. is a cultural-musical association that is run on a voluntary basis and organizes top-class concert shows in the Lübeck area out of enthusiasm for music. The association consists of a symphonic orchestra, a choir and a band. The musical director of the university-related association is Martin Hermann.
