The spectacular show from the Shaolin monastery returns to Germany in 2025! After the great success in 2024, when almost 39,000 spectators in eight European countries experienced the impressive skills of the monks, the new tour will once again unfold the magic of Shaolin Kung Fu in numerous German cities. Under the direction of a senior master, 18 of the best masters and shamis (students) from the Shaolin monastery will perform a captivating show that combines physical art, traditional weapon fighting and Zen philosophy.
The Shaolin monks are known worldwide for their dedication to the preservation of Chinese culture and their extraordinary physical abilities. In the two-hour performance, they demonstrate impressive techniques such as smashing stone slabs, piercing glass with needles and other seemingly impossible feats based on the masterful control of Qi, the energy of the body. With a unique blend of precision, power and mental strength, they show how centuries-old knowledge still fascinates people today.
Producer Herbert Fechter, who has been presenting the original masters and students worldwide since 1995, has put together a captivating show for the 2025 tour that takes the audience into the mysterious world of the Shaolin monks. Accompanied by footage of the sacred Song Shan mountain and the original temple, the show offers profound insights into the traditions and daily life of the monks.
